Northridge Christian School began in 1973 as a ministry of Northridge Church (previously named North Baptist Church).

The school, with a staff of just 3 dedicated teachers, opened its door that year to 29 kindergarten through fifth grade students. Over 35 years later the school still operates as a ministry of Northridge Church and draws its pre-kindergarten through sixth grade students from 8 different districts.
The school continues to emphasize the same principles that it was originally founded on: the love of God demonstrated by Jesus Christ and the purpose that is brought to one’s life by knowing Him. This Christian philosophy is threaded throughout the fabric of school life and continues to impact many students and families for Christ.
