Ways to Give
Volunteer
At NCS we work hard to partner with parents, and one of the best ways this can be accomplished is through our volunteer opportunities. Giving to NCS in this way provides our school with additional resources while enriching our community and curriculum. There are numerous opportunities to get involved; please contact the school office if you are interested in giving in this way.
Magazine Drive
The Magazine Drive is the first of 3 school supplemental fundraisers. Two weeks during the month of September students and their families participate in the event. The magazine drive is a great way to earn money for the school while providing magazine subscriptions at a tremendous savings to our supporters. Every single subscription means a lot and provides the school with 40% of the sale.
Annual Auction
The annual school Auction is a major fundraising event and occurs in early March. The Auction is a fun-filled day for the entire family and includes a Kids’ Carnival, lunch and dinner, and a Buy Now, Silent and Live Auction. The participation of the entire parent body, along with the faculty has been key to the Auction’s success. All proceeds from the auction are used to support the operating budget.
Race for Education
Every Spring the school holds a Race for Education. Students get very excited and look forward to this fun day every year. The school’s parking lot transforms into a track and the students are “off ” for their school! It’s easy and it’s fun. Students seek sponsors to support their efforts in the race, and funds are collected to help with general school expenses as well as special projects.
Matching Gifts
Many companies match the philanthropic contributions of their employees on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis. Information on how to request a matching gift is usually available through your employer’s personnel office.
United Way
NCS is eligible for donations given through the United Way. When making a donation to United Way, please indicate NCS #2534 for your donor designation.
